response from property -Thank you so much for your review. The five stars for all categories are great, and they show that we're showing our care for the community. The smell is unfortunate. Due to some working being completed by the University Area Joint Authority on the local water treatment plant, the waste composting has been uncovered for much of the Summer and into this Fall. We have spoken with the UAJA, and they have assured us that the work will be completed in November, and the smell will abate. We'll all be able to breathe a sigh of relief when the work is completed. For more information on the project, and to enter a complaint in regards to the smell, you can visit the University Joint Authority Website.

It is nicesubmitted by Luke D. - |Recommended: YesIt's a nice place but being so far from campus is a pain
response from property -Thank you so much for your kind words. Being approximately 3.5 miles from campus can pose some challenges. We provide free parking and a CATA bus pass for the HM Route to assist our residents in getting to wherever they need to go. We hope to see you at our Don't Dessert Us party for some tasty treats :)
Greatsubmitted by Zabuillah S. - |Recommended: YesNice, clean, and friendly.
It's simple and it works but it's not ideal.submitted by Andrew F. - |Recommended: YesIf you have good roommates and don't mind thin walls, this place is good for you. The price is decent but it's in no way glamorous. Furniture is a little cheap and the carpets are not great. Perfect for grad students or young professional who don't intend to call State College their home long-term.
Very nice, comfortable, and beautifulsubmitted by Jessica S. - |Recommended: YesIt's not at all loud and it's a convenient location near Walmart and Sheetz . There's always parking availability, there's a free bus, and it's only 8-10 minutes driving distance from campus The inside of the apartment is very nice and new and the club house is very nice as well
response from property -Thanks so much! We love our location and the great view of the stadium! Come see is in October for the "Don't Dessert Us" event. Lots of tasty treats :)
A nice option for grad studentssubmitted by Ryan L. - |Recommended: YesIts pretty quiet, low cost, furnished with nice furniture, overall pretty good spot.
response from property -Thanks so much for the review! :)
A nice quiet place for grad students young professionalssubmitted by Kimberly B. - |Recommended: YesI've enjoyed living at the Villas so far, and would recommend them to other graduate students young professionals looking for a safe and quiet place to live. It would also be nice for studious undergraduates. If you're looking for a party place, you're probably going to want to look elsewhere as the grounds are very calm. I personally enjoy the distance of the property from the PSU campus. It's only about a 7 minute drive, but is far enough out that you don't have to deal with the campus downtown business. The only thin I would say is that if you don't plan to bring a car or have consistent rides, I've known people who found it difficult to get around with the hour and a half CATA ride. As for the houses themselves, they're really nice. New, clean, and minimalist. The only thing to keep in mind is that WITHIN the apartment sound carries easily. Between units this isn't a problem, but if you get stuck with a noisy housemate you'll be hearing a lot of them. The kitchen is a really nice size. The bedrooms are cozy not wildly spacious but not TOO small either, plus you can't beat each bedroom having an attached bathroom. We've never had an issue running out of hot water or anything, even if two people are showering at the same time. I think the most attractive thing about living at the Villas is the price for what you're getting. Rent and the electric bill are reasonable, and I know people who are paying a lot more money to live in much less nice apartments. I moved into the Villas as a first year PhD student intending to move out into a single apartment once I felt more comfortable in State College, but I've decided to stick around since it's a nice place
response from property -Thank you so much for your review! We love The Villas community living style, and when we get feedback like this it shows. We are surprised to hear about such long bus rides for some trips. We'll be sure to follow up with CATA to ensure bus rides are taking no longer than the average of 20-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Thanks again for the great feedback :)
Beautiful property. With a caring staff.submitted by Stephen G. - |Recommended: YesQuiet area and access to a lot of different things. I enjoyed my time there
response from property -Thank you so much, Stephen! The Villas community is second to none, and that is in such a large part due to the amazing residents we have :)

I loved itsubmitted by Garrett H. - |Recommended: YesI loved living here close to the game lands perfect for outdoorsman just a little far from campus. Everyone here is friendly and the staff is professional and kind
Great property and layoutsubmitted by Avery D. - |Recommended: YesTen minutes from the campus parking lot, huge backyard, spacious inside the townhouse. The yard was ideal because I have a dog, and the staff was great about welcoming a large black lab ESA onto their property. Bathrooms connected to the bedroom is a huge plus, and the kitchen and living room have more than enough space. Best price you will find and great homes overall.
response from property -Thank you so much for your great review, Avery! We are so happy to provide a welcoming community, and it shows :)
